Easy Chocolate Halloween Witches Broom

Flaky puff pastry and chocolate combine to make these Puff Pastry Witches' Broomsticks. Enjoy the wizarding world in every bite, perfect for Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 1 Puff Pastry thawed sheet
  • 100 gm Chocolate
  • 5 Pretzel Sticks
  • Sugar (Extra fine or dusting sugar)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 400℉ or see your puff pastry packaged instruction
  • Melt Chocolate at 30 second interval in microwave till fully melted
  • Roll the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut in 3 inch squares
  • Generously spread melted chocolate on half of the squares. Places the remaining half on top of each square

  • Make mini cuts ¾ way as shown in the picture

  • Place pretezel stick quater way on the square and roll along with the pretezel stick(Check notes for alternate way). Separate the strips a bit before baking

  • Bake for 20-25 mins or as per your puff pastry packaged instructions
  • Sprinkle dusting sugar and Enjoy!

Notes

Note: If you do not have pretezel stick, you can follow a simple approach of making puff pastry sticks by rolling puff pastry into small thin sticks and bake them once before baking again with the witches broom
