Shrimps in White Wine Sauce

Seafood is high in protein, vitamins, minerals and low in calories and fat. On top of it, it tastes delicious and has a unique flavor. Shrimps are rich in nutrients including antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids that promote heart health. Shrimps in this buttery, garlicky wine sauce taste amazing and superbly delicious. You can use any cooking white wine of your choice. A dry white wine is the best for cooking. Dry Marsala is one the best, followed by dry sherry or the easily accessible Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon blanc 🍷

Prep Time: 2-3 mins
Cook Time: 5-7 mins

Ingredients:

400 gm shrimps (tail on or off)
3 cloves of garlic
60 ml cup chicken broth
125 ml cup of white wine
3 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp lemon
salt, to taste
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp dried parsley (use freshly chopped parsley if you can)

Directions:

Place a pan on medium-high heat, add 2 Tbsp butter, olive oil, and chopped garlic and sauté for a minute before adding the shrimps to the pan. Cook shrimps 2 mins on each side

Add salt, pepper, parsley, wine, chicken broth, remaining butter in the pan and let the sauce reduce. and shrimps are cooked through. As the sauce reduces it thickens. Takes about 3-5 mins

Add lemon juice and combine the sauce properly. Taste test it and serve!
