Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 400 gm chicken diced
  • 2 Lime finely diced
  • 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 1/3 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp zaatar
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 3 tbsp olive oil + more for pitas
  • 5 pitas

Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 tsp dried dill

Toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cucumbers diced
  • 10-12 Black pepper diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp zaatar
  • 1 tsp Butter

Instructions

PROCESS:

  • Preheat the oven to 425℉
  • In a bowl; add all ingredients for the Chicken and mix well. Optionally; marinate it for 30mins or overnight(turns out softer and more flavorful). Spread it on a baking tray and bake for 20 mins; flipping halfway through.
  • For yogurt sauce; mix all the ingredients together and it’s ready.
  • I mix all toppings together except the lettuce.
  • Heat pitas with a bit of oil. Cut them in half and let the steam out.

SERVING:

  • Layer pita with lettuce, and chicken along with the cucumber mix. Top with yogurt sauce. Enjoy!
