Ingredients
- 150 gm chicken
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp yogurt
- 1 tsp Chicken tikka powder
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp degi mirch
- naan bread
- pickled onion
- fresh lettuce
- sliced tomatoes
- mint chutney
Instructions
PROCESS:
- Pre-heat oven to 400℉
- In a bowl, add yogurt, salt to taste, chicken tikka powder, black pepper, cumin, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice and degi mich. Mix well to create a smooth paste. The spices will give the chicken a delicious tandoori flavor.
- Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with the yogurt and spice paste. Make sure each piece is well coated. Allow the chicken to marinate in the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Bake the chicken thighs for approximately 25 minutes, ensure that both sides of the chicken are evenly cooked, and achieve a golden brown color.
- While the chicken is baking, heat the naan bread. You can heat the naan in a preheated oven or on a grill pan until warm and pliable.
SERVING:
- Take one-half of the heated naan bread and place the baked chicken pieces inside it.
- Top the chicken with pickled onion. You can also add other desired toppings such as fresh lettuce or sliced tomatoes for added freshness.
