We all know what we put inside our body is what reflects on our skin and in our overall health. Natural ingredients are the best to detoxify our bodies. These wellness or health shots as I like to call them need only 6 INGREDIENTS and 5 MINUTES of your time. Make a small batch ahead of time which lasts about 10-15 days in the refrigerator. Drink a shot each day to boost your immune system and detoxify your body.

🍊🍋Oranges and Lemon are excellent sources of vitamin C. Lemon being naturally alkaline and detoxifying also boosts the immune system
💛 Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and has been used in ayurvedic medicines for thousands of years
💛 Ginger is high in gingerol, a natural substance that is also known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties
🍯 Honey contains a number of antioxidants, including phenolic compounds like flavonoids

  • 3-4 Oranges
  • 1 Turmeric Root Peeled
  • 1 medium-sized Ginger root Peeled
  • 1 Lemon Juiced
  • 2-3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper


If using a BLENDER:

  • Peel and roughly chop ginger and turmeric root. Add it to the blender. Peel and add oranges to the mix. Add lemon juice and blend everything till nicely blended
  • You can either strain the mixture now or keep it as is for more fiber content. If planning to strain use either a muslin cloth or a regular strainer and spoon. Squeeze out all the juice from the pulp in the strainer till the pulp is left almost dry. SKIP the juicer step and follow the last step

If using a JUICER:

  • Add the ginger, turmeric, orange, and lemon one at a time to the juicer. After the juice is extracted, follow the serving guide


  • Mix honey and pepper to the juice blend and serve in shot glasses as it will be too strong to drink on its own. You can add more honey for more sweetness as per preference. Having a shot daily will help with immunity and overall wellness of your body
